Mr. Friendly is AE Industrial’s General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, overseeing the firm’s legal and compliance functions across its investment funds, management company, and general partners. Before joining AE Industrial in 2025, Mr. Friendly was a Partner at McDermott Will & Emery LLP, where he practiced for over 11 years with a focus on representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in healthcare transactions and corporate governance. Mr. Friendly has also spoken on mergers and acquisitions as a panelist on national webinars and at healthcare private equity conferences and been honored as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and the Ambulatory M&A Advisor.
