Mr. Friendly is the General Counsel at AE Industrial and is primarily responsible for management of the legal function and provision of legal guidance across the firm’s investments, funds, management company and general partners. Before joining AE Industrial in 2025, Mr. Friendly was a Partner at McDermott Will & Emery LLP, where he practiced for over 11 years with a focus on representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in healthcare transactions and corporate governance. Mr. Friendly has also spoken on mergers and acquisitions as a panelist on national webinars and at healthcare private equity conferences and been honored as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and the Ambulatory M&A Advisor.
