Mr. Plueger is a Senior Advisor to AE Industrial across its entire portfolio of investments and strategies and joins AE Industrial with 40 years of experience in the aviation industry. He was previously the Co-Founder, CEO, President and a member of the Board of Directors of Air Lease Corporation (NYSE: AL). Earlier in his career, he spent 25 years with International Lease Finance Corporation, where he served on its Board of Directors as President and COO and then CEO prior to joining Air Lease Corporation in 2010. He also served on the Spirit Aerosystems Board of Directors for 10 years. His professional experience includes testifying before the U.S. House of Representatives as an aircraft leasing expert as well as answering European Commission formal inquiries concerning aerospace industry related M&A. Mr. Plueger is a certified jet pilot, holding a U.S. FAA Airline Transport Pilot license and five jet type ratings. He serves as Emeritus Board Member for the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and also serves on the Board of Regents at Pepperdine University. Mr. Plueger is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Certified Director.
