Mr. Santos-Buch is an Operating Partner at AE Industrial, bringing over 40 years of investment banking and private equity experience. He previously served on the Board of Directors of BHI Energy, prior to its sale to Westinghouse Electric Company in 2022, Resolute Industrial, prior to its sale to Aggreko in 2023, and Altus Fire & Life Safety, prior to its sale to Apax Partners in 2024. Over his career, he has been involved in over $30 billion of financings and M&A transactions. Mr. Santos-Buch led the transaction origination efforts at UBS Capital, LLC and UBS Capital Americas, LLC for more than a decade, identifying investment opportunities across various industries including aerospace and specialty industrials. Mr. Santos-Buch founded the Financial Sponsor Coverage Groups at UBS AG and PaineWebber Incorporated. He has also held senior leveraged finance and sponsor coverage positions at CIBC World Markets, Oppenheimer, Alex. Brown & Sons and Kidder, Peabody.
