Mr. Johnson is a Vice President at AE Industrial and a member of AE Ventures, the venture capital platform of AE Industrial Partners. Prior to joining AE Industrial in 2025, he worked as an investor at Exome Asset Management, a New York-based hedge fund, and in investment banking at Lazard, where he advised healthcare companies on a variety of strategic transactions, including M&A, divestitures and licensing. Prior to his career in finance, Mr. Johnson was a synthetic organic chemist in the biopharmaceutical industry, working at both Amgen and Eli Lilly, where he was responsible for discovering new medicines for diabetes, obesity, and neurological diseases.
