Mr. Hemelt is an Associate at AE Industrial and is primarily focused on financial modeling, due diligence, executing new investments, and monitoring portfolio investments. Prior to joining AE Industrial in 2026, Mr. Hemelt was a Private Equity Associate at Blue Sea Capital, where he evaluated and executed platform and add-on acquisitions predominantly within the industrials sector. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst with the Raymond James Defense & Government Services group, where he focused on M&A for clients across the sector.
