Mr. Torres is an Operating Partner at AE Industrial, bringing over 25 years of operating experience in the commercial and defense aerospace aftermarket as well as managing private equity-backed enterprises. Mr. Torres currently serves on the Board of Directors of AE Industrial portfolio companies: Air Transport Components and Yingling Aviation. Prior to joining AE Industrial in 2025, Mr. Torres was President & CEO of global aerospace aftermarket distributor and service provider Kellstrom Aerospace, a former AE Industrial portfolio company, which was sold to VSE Corporation in December 2024. He served as Kellstrom’s President & CEO for three years prior to the sale to VSE and as its CFO for more than 20 years. During his tenure at Kellstrom, Mr. Torres consistently drove initiatives that enhanced operational excellence, guided the company through various strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and established Kellstrom as a leading supply chain solutions provider in the aerospace aftermarket. Prior to Kellstrom Mr. Torres was a Manager at KPMG, LLP. Mr. Torres is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
